Sellma Vllasi, FNP-C

 
Sellma received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas, and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, with post–graduate certification by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Care. Ms. Vllasi maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With over ten years nursing experience in women’s health as well as chronic disease management and prevention, Ms. Vllasi has a keen interest in preventive medicine, functional medicine, women’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, pediatrics, and comprehensive health care for the family across the lifespan.

Narine Milter, FNP-C

Narine got her start as a nurse in her hometown of Kiev, Ukraine in 1989. In 1993, she emigrated to the United States and took a break from nursing to build her new life in the U.S. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science in 2000. After working in tech for a few years, Narine began to greatly miss her true calling of nursing and completed an Accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing program at Rush University in Chicago. While working as a registered nurse in the IMCU at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. In August 2021, Narine and her family moved to Austin, and she joined Wiseman Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Narine is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Narine has experience in cardiology, home healthcare, as well as acute and chronic disease management. Her approach greatly emphasizes patient education. She has interests in general family medicine, integrative and functional medicine, nutrition, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pediatrics. Narine strives to empower her patients to take their health into their own hands and be proactive in caring for themselves on all levels.

Narine lives in the Leander community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, exploring new places in Austin, and staying active through fitness.

Sherry Kamali Fulmer, FNP-C

Sherry earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. With over twelve years of family medicine, cardiology, internal and lifestyle medicine experience, Sherry’s passion is rooted in empowering patients to thrive and achieve optimal holistic health. Before her career in nursing, Sherry earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Government at New Mexico State University, with a career in public service and policy. Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sherry has a special interest in general family medicine, preventive medicine, integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with a primary focus on disease prevention and health promotion.

With an international upbringing, Sherry has traveled the world and chose the Austin area as her permanent home with her husband, two daughters, and their beagle. She actively volunteers within the Cedar Park community where she lives and enjoys reading, cooking, and time outdoors.

Emily Pulikal, FNP-C

Emily obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus in family medicine, from Concordia University in Wisconsin. She obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Emily has also received certification in aesthetic medicine and procedural sedation. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Nursing and the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association. Her career experience includes mental healthcare, telemedicine integration, healthcare prevention, and treatment across the lifespan. Emily has a special interest in integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, general family medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She values the opportunity to use her education to care for others, and it is her joy to promote health and wellness.

Emily and her husband have one daughter, two dogs, and several fish, and live in Leander. Emily loves spending time with her family and friends around the dinner table or out hiking. She enjoys swimming for exercise, baking, and growing a vegetable garden to share.

Kimberly Labinsky, FNP-C

Kimberly received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2010. She later went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2022 and was certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and approved by the Texas Board of Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. Kimberly has spent much of her nursing career working in acute care with specialties that varied from endocrinology and nephrology to neurology and psychiatry. She has always been interested in the mind-body connection and a holistic approach to healthcare. Her focus is in general family medicine, preventive medicine, integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with a primary focus on disease prevention and health promotion.

In Kimberly’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, two dogs, a cat, fish, and frogs. Her family enjoys spending time together outdoors, especially near the water. Kimberly loves to focus on her flower garden while her husband tends to their vegetable garden. She loves to travel both abroad and for local weekend get-aways, and loves to experiencing new things surrounded by friends and family.

Gabrielle Teumer, FNP-C

Gabrielle has over a decade of experience in family medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and a Doctorate of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Medicine from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Dedicated to preventative healthcare, Gabrielle is passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal health through proactive measures. Her compassionate integrative care approach and expertise make her a trusted provider in the community. Whether it’s managing acute and chronic health conditions or promoting preventive care through education and patient empowerment, she is committed to enhancing her patients’ overall well-being. Gabrielle also has a special interest in general family medicine including pediatrics, integrative family medicine, and women’s health.

When she is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She especially loves being outdoors, cooking, watching live music in Austin, and traveling.

Justine Elling, FNP-C

Justine earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She started practicing in 2011 with a specialty in family medicine and clinical interest in wellness, women’s health, pediatrics, preventive medicine, integrative and functional medicine, chronic disease management, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. With thirteen years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in clinical leadership, Justine strives to treat patients comprehensively and with compassion. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice), and the American Nurses Association.

When she is not treating patients, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family, in and around Cedar Park where she calls home.

Sara Bouffard, MPAS, PA-C

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Sara is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Sara empowers her patients by partnering with them in their health journey through education and shared decision-making. With a diverse skill set as a PA ranging from health promotion to critical care medicine, she has a special interest in general family medicine, integrative medicine, preventative medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, nephrology, and neurology.

Sara enjoys reading and visiting her family in Colorado where they spend time skiing and hiking. A resident herself of Cedar Park, she volunteers in the community alongside her husband Blake.

Colleen Mecca, FNP-C

Colleen holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. Her focus is in family medicine across the lifespan. She is board certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Colleen’s background prior to receiving her doctoral degree was primarily working in the ICU, along with post-surgery and home-based care. She has seen the long-term consequences of poorly managed chronic disease, and that has fueled her interest in preventive and proactive healthcare. She believes in empowering patients to optimize their health through lifestyle-based interventions and evidence-based treatment plans. Colleen advocates for an integrative approach to healthcare and believes that health and wellness is attainable for anyone. Her areas of focus include general family medicine, and integrative and functional medicine; she has a strong interest in metabolic disease prevention and gut health.

Colleen moved from Dallas, TX, during the pandemic to work as a ICU travel nurse. She began her journey in New York City before making Austin, TX, her home. There, she met her husband, and later had her daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, cooking, and working on what seems like never-ending home renovations.

Jennefer Jordan, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Jennefer served as a U.S. Marine Corps Air Support Control Officer in Operation Iraqi Freedom, honorably discharged in 2006 as a Captain. Driven to continue serving others, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013.A DAISY Award recipient, Jennefer has experience in operating room, critical care, perioperative, and chronic disease nursing. Her clinical passions include preventive medicine, integrative family medicine, pediatrics, functional medicine, nutrition, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. During her doctoral studies at Texas Tech University, she created a public health initiative reducing uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes among refugee patients — research presented at nursing and public health conferences worldwide. She holds memberships in TNA, TNP, and is an ACE Diabetes Prevention Coach.

Jennefer volunteers with the PTA, HOPE Clinic, local disaster relief, and homeless outreach. Outside of work, she enjoys preventative health, outdoor activities, and arts and crafts — but her favorite time is spent with family, friends, and her precocious daughter.

Michael Basye, FNP-C

Michael is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of healthcare experience spanning prehospital emergency medicine, hospital-based nursing, and primary care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University in California and his Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Post University in Connecticut, and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Michael spent 18 years in Emergency Medical Services as a paramedic, providing advanced life support and managing acute medical conditions in high-pressure environments. This diverse clinical foundation allows him to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered medical care within the family practice setting. Dedicated to disease prevention and natural health promotion, Michael has a special interest in integrative family medicine across the lifespan

Outside of work, Michael enjoys mountain biking, coaching his son’s baseball team, and spending time with his wife and three kids.
