Tammy Whitehead, FNP-C
Tammy Whitehead, FNP-C, received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017 and was board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was an emergency nurse for over a decade. Tammy brings a comprehensive approach to family medicine, including pediatrics, focusing on prevention, wellness, integrative and functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and personalized treatment that address the root causes of illness. With years of clinical experience, Tammy manages a broad spectrum of conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic disease management, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. Tammy is dedicated to empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve optimal health and wellness.
Tammy lives in the Burnet community and in her free time, she is committed to ongoing education and professional development to ensure the best care for patients. Tammy also enjoys engaging in wellness activities, exploring nature, and spending time with her husband, four kids, 9 grandkids, horses and chickens.
